Hello, We are a friendly, quiet, middle-class, couple looking for a long term pitch for our motorhome to live in fulltime. Ideally somewhere peaceful, safe and scenic we can stay for a minimum of 6-12 months. Our cabin on wheels is a pretty and well-presented converted Leyland Daf 7.5t, painted to be in keeping with natural surroundings (not an eye sore!), so pitches must be suitable for this weight. It's fairly self contained with solar panels, shower/toilet and kitchen facilities, so electric hookup is not essential but is a bonus where available. Mobile phone reception required for internet (unless wifi is available). Must be dog friendly (1 small very friendly dog). Ideally with a space to park a car so that amenities such as supermarket, launderette and waste disposal can be reached (where not on site). Nearby fields or woodland for dog walking would be ideal. We are non-smokers, non-drinkers, mature and conscientious nature lovers looking for a change in lifestyle - a long term nature retreat with low overheads. I suffer from M.E and am looking for a private nature hideaway in which to recover my health. OH also recovering from health problems but is preparing to return to work and is prepared to take on part-time duties in exchange for somewhere to park up for a while. Perhaps you are looking for property guardians/security to be a presence on your land? Perhaps you are a farmer in need of a farm hand or someone to watch over a barn? Perhaps you need a part time site warden? OH has experience in labouring, tree surgery and customer service and is pursuing SIA Licence and First Aid certificate. Any UK location considered. We're ideally looking to move onto this around April/May 2020, but may consider going sooner if required.
