Small Flower Farm Seeking Land in Aberdeenshire ?? I’m looking for a small piece of land to rent in Aberdeenshire to establish a micro flower farm alongside my floristry business. I’m hoping to find around 500–2,000 sq ft of suitable ground, although I’m flexible on size and open to discussing what might work on your land. I’ll be growing seasonal, locally grown cut flowers such as sweet peas, ranunculus, anemones, tulips, narcissi, snapdragons, nigella, stocks, scabiosa and poppies. My aim is to grow sustainably, create a haven for pollinators and produce beautiful Scottish flowers for my own floristry work and local customers. I’m particularly interested in working with a farmer or landowner who has a small or underused area of land that could be put to productive use. I’m looking for a longer-term arrangement where possible and would be happy to agree a reasonable rent. I’m a new entrant to flower farming and am passionate about developing a small, sustainable local business. I would take great care of the land and keep the growing area tidy and well maintained.
