Hay Fields, our family-run farm, extends around 157 acres in a location that boasts beautiful landscapes, woodlands and moorlands.

We offer our remote 9-acre level field as a blank canvas for your celebration.

Lovers of the great outdoors can embrace the elements and let the outside into their event to maximise the breath taking views. Let your ideas run wild, ensuring it’s your event, your way, in relaxed and informal surroundings.

Our unique, rural space can accommodate a variety of events to meet various requirements from teepee, marquees, bell tents and yurts. Your event can be as informal or formal as you would like.

We work alongside an abundance of incredible suppliers, from tepee companies to florists.

With ample car parking and room for up to 200 guests, you and your party can enjoy the remoteness and tranquillity of our stunning location.

Putting your mark on this beautiful, unique space will be very individual and to your liking.

Woodlands and Moorlands
Our Hay Fields are adjacent to public woodlands and moorlands that are great for photo opportunities!

Hay Fields may be out in the sticks. Still, for all supplies and only a stone’s throw to the city of Sheffield and the town of Chesterfield, you’ll have access to anything you could need while enjoying your event. Also, nearby you’ll find some lovely idyllic bed & breakfast establishments and hotels in the charming villages of Baslow and Bakewell.

The church of Holmesfield is just a short 10 minute drive where celebrant weddings are very much encouraged.

Our space is by a rural roadside with very amenable access.
We allow access to the field Thursday - Monday inclusive for £2000 + VAT, Friday - Sunday for £1000 + VAT this also includes guests camping.
Day rates are £500 + VAT for access from 9am – 9pm and exclusive camping for your guests is an extra £250 + VAT per night.

Camping
If you would like to take a step further into nature, camping or organising a bell tent village for you and your guests to enjoy through to the following morning is not a problem here. We also invite your furry friends to enjoy your special event.
