Shrubs Wood is an iconic 90 acre listed woodland estate in a classified area of outstanding natural beauty. The estate comprises a large 26 acre paddock and two significant woodland areas and is home to an abundance of native wildlife and ancient deciduous forestry. Previously owned by Bridget Dame D'Oyly Carte the estate has a colourful history and was used to throw raucous parties by high society in the swinging sixties, today it plays host to a variety of food over fire experiences cooked by Michelin chefs.
The estate comes fully equipped with a state of the art stratus tipi which can accommodate up to 72 guests, a 63 amp generator which provides lighting, heating and electricity, furniture including a meticulously hand carved wooden table, sunken fire pit and even has its own wood fired sauna making it the ideal location for weddings or private celebrations.
