Description

We are a baseball and softball club that draws players from south west Surrey and north east Hampshire and even further afield than that. Land around here is at a premium and we are struggling to find a place to build a baseball/softball diamond. We have over 100 members, both at adult and junior levels. Our needs are similar to cricket, in that we need an area approx. 400 ft square. That said, a large proportion of the field can overlap other sports pitchers (such as rugby and football). It is only a 100 ft square in the corner, where we have bases and a mound that some of the grass is removed. As we are a summer sport (April to August), we can't really share with cricket, but we can share with winter sports if needs be.
