FIELD WANTED – Family Camping Meet & Greet – 300–500 People
We are looking for a suitable field/campsite to exclusively hire for established annual family-friendly camping weekends.
My partner runs a well-established YouTube channel focused on nature, mountain climbing, bushcraft, outdoor adventures and UK historical locations. For several years we have organised successful meet-and-greet camping weekends for his community, attracting approximately 300–500 people.
We previously worked with the same campsites for four years and are now looking for new locations, ideally where we can build a long-term relationship and return for future events.
The events run Friday–Sunday. Most guests camp in tents, with some campervans. Saturday includes an organised group walk, family activities, competitions and socialising. In the evenings guests gather around a communal fire pit, with acoustic/live music and a small band.
We arrange our own professional security team and hold full public liability/event insurance. These are organised, established community events rather than a typical festival.
Dates required:
• 2–4 July
• 20–22 August
• 27–29 August
We can use different locations for each date, so availability for just one weekend is absolutely fine.
Ideally we need:
• Exclusive use of the field/site
• Capacity for 300–500 people
• Tent camping & campervans
• Parking
• Toilets, or permission to bring portable toilets
• Water access
• Electricity or permission to provide our own
• Space for a marquee/small band
• One safely managed communal fire pit
• Dogs permitted
• Vehicle access for equipment/suppliers
• Live/amplified music permitted
For one evening we would ideally like music until approximately 2am. If appropriate licensing isn’t already in place, we are happy to discuss arranging a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) where possible.
We do not sell alcohol; guests may bring their own for personal consumption.
We are happy to arrange our own marquee, toilets, waste disposal, power and other infrastructure if required, so a relatively basic field could still be suitable.
A rural location away from immediate residential neighbours would be ideal.
We are open to farms, campsites, private fields, estates and existing event/festival sites throughout the UK.
