Description

I am a children’s psychotherapist within Lincolnshire and also have a strong passion for horticulture. I currently grow plants and vegetables and attend local farmers’ markets, and I am hoping to bring these interests together to create a community growing and wellbeing space for local children and families, particularly SEND and home-educated children and young people. I am ideally looking for around one acre, although I would be very happy to consider a smaller suitable site or discuss a phased approach. The vision is to create a safe, inclusive outdoor space incorporating growing areas, raised beds, a small polytunnel, sensory and wildlife areas, outdoor learning and a quiet wellbeing space. I am particularly interested in a lease, community-use arrangement or other long-term agreement, rather than purchasing land. I am also exploring grant funding to develop the project and would be very happy to provide further information or a short project proposal if required. I would really appreciate any guidance you can offer, as I am hoping to develop something that could make a genuine positive difference to children, young people and families in the local community ??
