Looking for a private field to hire — West Sussex — last weekend of July 2027 Hi all, I'm organising a relaxed 3-night camping weekend for a group of around 50 friends and family, and I'm hoping to find a farmer or landowner with a field they'd be willing to hire out for exclusive use. Happy to pay a fair rate and treat the place with respect — we're a well-behaved bunch, not a rowdy festival crowd. What we're after: A private field, exclusive use, in or around West Sussex Fri–Mon over one of these weekends (flexible): 23–26 July, 30 July–2 Aug, or 6–9 Aug 2027 Space for circa 50 people camping — mostly tents, plus about 5 camper vans Room for a stretch tent/marquee as a communal hub Handy if you have it (but we can hire in): Mains water on or near the field Electric hookup — or you're happy for us to bring a generator Any existing toilet/shower facilities Vehicle access for a couple of delivery lorries How we run it: We bring in our own suppliers — caterer, stretch tent, etc. Music off by 11pm, no problem at all One catered feast night, otherwise low-key camping We'll sort our own insurance and leave the field exactly as we found it If you've got a suitable spot and fancy earning from it for a weekend, I'd love to hear from you — drop me a message with a rough idea of location and what you'd charge.
