Description
We are a ground improvement organisation working across various infrastructure sectors, and we are seeking a small site to undertake a research and development activity for a fee. We are seeking a site that exhibits London Clay ground conditions and the presence of high water-demand trees (e.g. Oak trees). The areas of London and Essex are prime examples, you can check your ground conditions on British Geological Society website: https://mapapps2.bgs.ac.uk/geoindex/home.html
We would therefore appreciate an opportunity to discuss the possibility of renting a very limited area of open green space near the tree line (circa 10m x 30m), to undertake a research and development activity for the period of approximately 1 year. The activity we propose is mainly hands off - we would setup the site (including markers on the ground, not visible), secure the area and then have occasional visits to measure ground movements.
Of course we would provide all details of the proposed works, environmental declarations etc to ensure the landowner, council or any relevant agencies are in agreement with the activities proposed.
