Hi! I’m looking for around 0.5 - 2 acres on which to grow vegetables, keep chickens and possibly in time, possibly a couple of lambs and bees. As much as it is possible I would like a long term agreement that would enable me to invest in the soil, perennials and grow slowly as I also work part time and have a young family. In time I would like to grow to feed myself and help to support food security in the local community. I’m based in Lewes and am looking for a spot fairly nearby. I don’t have many requirements apart from that the site has water, basic vehicular access, gets some sun and doesn’t border land that is sprayed on a regular basis. I’d be very happy with an unused corner of field and don’t mind clearing it if needed!
