I currently operate metal detecting training days for people new to the hobby and group dig events to experienced detectorists, I am looking for land to rent in Essex. I would be looking for a decent sized field for the detecting training days which can be grazing, pasture or ploughed for a yearly or monthly fee, this would be 6 person detecting training days (4 hours training/4 hour dig) to educate new diggers to the rules, regs and codes of detecting to help prevent damage to land, live stock, reputation and the consequences of hawking while advising beaches clubs and organised digs while searching for permissions. I would be looking for Ploughed fields for group events or non detected pasture/grazing for access when harvested for a yearly or event based fee, this would be 30+ person dig events at £7.50 per digger or set fee of £250 for 50 acre ploughed field 1 day 8am-4pm I can organise multiple digs for larger farms rotating the fields as they are available, all land is pre checked for green waste and correct digging conditions and to ensure all land owner requests are set and followed. I run a smooth and organised event with all wearing Hi-Viz, Insured, scrap buckets and entry/parking/exit overseen personally to ensure no stress is caused. I can organise very large digs on pre checked land which on good land can achieve 100 person digs (£750) per 200 acre per day which would have additional staff to maintain and keep the same professional standard. A 1000 acre of good digging land would produce 5 digs paid at a total of £3750 all done between 3-4 weekends 8am-4pm all self managed and diggers insured.
