Description

The Wyvern Rises is the name we have given to a new pagan camp that we as locals to the New Forest are trying to start here in the heart of Wessex. This is going to be a small & informal gathering of about 100 people, consisting of families, couples, & singles, both young & old. At these gatherings we: • Have talks on paganism & skills such as dowsing • Run workshops on nature topics (Foraging, plant identification etc) • Have small trade stalls selling pagan wares • Hold joint multipath rituals • Sing songs & tell stories around the fire We have set the dates for the camp as arrive Friday 18th June & depart Monday 21st June We are looking for a field more or less as follows: • Size 5 acres + • Flat ground – Suitable for camping in tent, caravan & motorhome • Vehicular access for cars, caravans & motorhomes • Access to drinking water • Permission to have an open fire / raised fire pans This is not a commercial event & will be very low key. As we would love to make this an annual event, you can be assured that we will respect the land & keep our footprint light, so that we may be invited back.
