Description

We are looking for a place where we can host a big family community event appx. 200-250 people (including kids) Where we can put camping tents..so some family's could stay overnight, as they will be coming from different parts of UK.. We had this event last year and it went really well. This year it will be partially funded by heritage lottery fund. Few words about the event: Our community is planning to hold a Midsummer historic-cultural event. We want to unite different traditions(Eastern European and English) of the celebrating Midsummer Day - the longest day with the shortest night. During the event scheduled: - Sport activities - Live Musical performances of young talents (dancers and singers from other communities and Sunday schools) - Small stage performances in five languages (Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians, Russians and English) which will tell about Midsummer, how it appeared and how celebrated in different parts of the world. - Children and adults activitys(bouncy castles) - International Fair - traditional bonfire and after the dask, traditional Fern flower search. - Bbq and traditional food Dates we are looking at: 22/06-23/06(preferably to start setting up on 21/06 late evening, or very early morning 22/06) If that is something you can offer, please let me know and we can discuss further.
