Description

A level field suitable for camping for up to about 30 people, for one night towards the end of March/beginning of April. I'd like to get family and friends together under canvas for my 40th birthday (we're all keen campers - well, most!). I would like to be able to have a campfire and BBQ, and also put up a larger communal tent in case of bad weather. If possible, I would like permission to dig the pit necessary for a pit roast. We're archaeologists (and scout leaders / ex scout leaders) with experience of managing camps and fires safely!
