July 2018 I will be hosting a birthday event & I'm really keen on the idea of festival theme/type party! This event would be private for friends & family only not open to the general public, entry would require a personal invitation in the form of a festival ticket. I'm thinking the full works in terms of a festival theme, different music tents & possibly a main stage (all of which I can organise myself), merchandise stalls (t-shirts, key rings etc), bouncy castle &/or kids area (for the children), food & drink bars, etc. I wouldn't be charging for any of the items/food/drinks etc available but plan to use a token type scheme as payment (tokens would be pre bought prior to arrival). I will provide all drinks etc. I would need to be able to play loud music & consume alcohol on the premises & would ideally want it for a number of hours & maybe even the option to camp out overnight - although this is not a essential. Im not sure how this all works in terms of license's or permits etc so any adviCe would be more than welcome and much appreciated. All I'm basically after is a field or outdoor space that allows a large loud crowd with alcohol and food, all the bits in between I can organise myself and obviously it goes without saying that I would be obliged to clean up any mess left behind.
