Woodhall Park is private and not usually open to the public. As a result it makes an exclusive and outstanding venue for events, whether for large-scale sporting events and the arts, private and corporate days, or for filming and photography. We offer a wide variety of outdoor space for hire from fields, to Woodland, to our own walled gardens.

We benefit from excellent links from/to central London.

Our principal space is stunning 18th Century parkland. The undulating park is filled with historic oak and hornbeam trees – some over 600 years old. This historic and expansive setting suits major events such as sporting events, festivals, shows, concerts, outdoor theatre and screenings. The main site is approximately 50 acres. A gentle slope over the site creates a natural amphitheatre, with the Broadwater Lake at the bottom suited for a dazzling light display. Our designated parking sites are in close proximity.

The Walled Gardens are a wonderful piece of history in Woodhall Park. Built in the late 1770s, the three gardens enclose 16,500 sqm / 4 acres within a 20-foot high brick wall. The ground is gently sloping and at the top of the gardens there are beautiful views over the surrounding parkland and towards some of our most ancient oak and hornbeam trees. The Walled Gardens make not only a historic and atmospheric venue, but also one which is totally private and secure. They suit a variety of events, particularly outdoor theatre, concerts and screenings, as well as educational events and camps, festivals and shows.

Stapleford Meadows lie adjacent to Woodhall Park alongside the River Beane. The area is 14 acres in size and it is ideal for mid-sized and less formal events. As an example, it has been the central hub for mass-participation sporting events such as the Warrior Adrenaline Race, the Gauntlet Games and the Gladiator Games. It is suitable as a central hub for many types of sporting event including triathlons when used in conjunction with the Broadwater Lake, as well as mid-sized shows and festivals. Stapleford Meadows offer ample parking on a well-draining field and the area has two accesses onto the A119 main road for a one way traffic system.

We are unable to accommodate weddings and civil ceremonies.

Hire fees will vary depending on which sites are being used and individual requirements, ranging from £1,500 - £10,000 per day. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
