A stunning south facing 5 acre field with accompanying 1 acre of woodland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the beautiful village of Mayfield in East Sussex. Gently sloping leading to a very large, wide open and relatively flat area at the southern aspect with incredible unrestricted views over the beautiful countryside.

With access from a private road, the field offers a large area which is perfect for small groups (max 25) and anyone seeking a quiet, peaceful spot for rest and relaxation (so a yoga or wellness retreat would fit the bill) or wild camping groups (contact us for further details and prices), outdoor games and activities such as archery or shooting, scout/guide groups, school 'forest craft' days and woodland pursuits. We've even been used for film location work! If you have an outdoor activity in mind, please get in touch. Parking is on site and weather permitting. Unfortunately we can't accommodate larger groups, stag or wedding parties.

Wadhurst mainline railway station is approx 3 miles away (serving London and Hastings) and there are excellent transport links from the south coast, Tunbridge Wells and London via the A21. Nearby there are many popular attractions; Bewl Water, Scotney Castle and Bodiam Castle (both National Trust), Bedgebury National Pinetum and two heritage railways, the Kent & East Sussex Railway (near Bodiam) and the Spa Valley Railway (in nearby Tunbridge Wells). The historic village of Mayfield, only a mile away, boasts fabulous pubs with accommodation and numerous outlets for locally produced food and drink. What's not to like?
